English Japanned carriage clock, late 19th c., having top swing handle, above rectangular case with columnar corner posts, in a black lacquer finish with parcel-gilt chinoiserie motifs, gilt-metal dial with Roman numeral hour markers, time-and-strike movement bearing the mark of Gustav Becker, on bracket feet, accompanied by pendulum, not currently operational, appears to be fully wound, approx 11"h, 9.25"w, 5.5"d, 8lbs
CR 9.30.25- As mentioned in the catalog description, the clock is not currently operational, it is accompanied by a well-fitting pendulum but it lacking a key, the clock appears to be fully wound as it is very difficult to wind, the movement does not respond to winding, as with all of our antique clocks, this piece would likely benefit from a professional adjustment and a thorough cleaning of the movement
