03/19/2026- In my opinion regarding LOT: 3018- the box presents in overall sturdy and stable condition, hinges remain secure and intact, I note some typical minute nicks and small losses to the finish particularly along the edges, painted surfaces exhibit light wear however remain largely legible, the interior lid panel shows a visible hairline to the lacquer, a UV light examination indicates the line does not extend through to the exterior surface and therefore does not appear to represent a structural crack to the panel but rather a separation within the lacquer layer, however I am not an expert so have taken images for your review, the corners, hinge joins and edges show light stress lines, the removable tray remains intact with expected wear including small nicks and rubs, interior fittings are present as pictured with some various small losses, missing elements and wear noted, the lower drawer slides well and the interior appears as shown in the images, overall the observed wear appears minor and commensurate with the age and utilitarian use of the box
