Dutch Neoclassical style inlaid bed, 19th c., profuse marquetry inlay depicting floral chains and a flowering urn within an oval reserve, wide shaped side rails, on rectangular block feet, exterior: approx 45.5"h, 83"l, 52"w, interior: approx 75.5"l, 50"w
04.14.26: In my opinion regarding LOT 3304: Please note that the bed is not accompanied by bolts/ hardware, I note that the marquetry and string inlay is overall well-retained with some typical small chipped losses and scattered fills, the veneer also having vertical splits, mostly at the head and foot boards, that appear to remain stable, some with filled reinforcement along the seam, I observe typical light tonal variations associated with finish wear and small areas of fill with a darker coloration, and typical minor surface wear such as light abrasions, scuffs, and chips commensurate with age and use
