03.13.25: In my opinion regarding LOT 3179: the signature appears to be engraved, I have take several images for your review, the structure is sturdy and intact overall, veneer displays some tonal variation, light rubs, minor nicks and wear, pull out surfaces to either side show wear with use to leather liner with some spotting and rubs, see images, metal mounts appear present and secure throughout the desk, I note only minor inherent pitting, some rubs, tonal and Verde patination, spotting and general light wear, the drawers are released by pressure being placed on the roll-top (possibly spring-loaded?), there is no key present
