04.21.2026- In my opinion regarding LOT 2174: I note that the commode stands sturdy, the marble top having typical minor chipping at edges which is sparse, the drawers operate smoothly, the leather writing surface of the secretary remains securely inset with typical minor spotting and fading commensurate with age and use, also having minor creasing, the drawer interiors are overall well-kept/ clean, with reinforced separation at the right side panel, there is light finish wear, particularly at the side panels and along the natural wood grain of the veneer (see images), the ebonized banded trim with tonal variations, and there is typical minor surface wear such as nicks, small chips, and light abrasions commensurate with age and use
