07/06/2026: In my opinion regarding LOT: 2388-the mirror was examined on the wall, hanging hardware may have been added since the time of photography, the gilt surface is overall intact and may be later, it is bright, there are expected small imperfections and variations and thickness of finish, light nicks and minor wear, incising is legible, flat mirror plate exhibits hazing, spotting and general light wear, there are no apparent chips or cracks, all commensurate with mid 19thc age, display and use
