French Louis Philippe period burled walnut commode, mid 19th c., having rounded marble top, over frieze drawer and three additional drawers, rising on bun feet, approx 39"h, 49.25"w, 22.25"d

08/19/2026: I note that the commode is structurally sturdy the marble top having typical minor chipping, mostly contained to the unfinished back edge consistent with rubs/ contact against a wall, the right side panel having a minute seam of central stable separation, close visual examination reveals a few small patches, seemingly contained to the trim between drawers, and one of the drawer fronts (see image), the drawers operate smoothly, and there is minute evidence of old woodworm consistent with origin, I observe a sparse amount of typical minor surface wear such as minute chips, nicks, and light abrasions commensurate with age and use
