03.23.2026- In my opinion regarding LOT: 3375, due to gallery location, the commode is difficult to photograph, please refer to online images for the most complete views available with zoom, the structure is stable and sturdy, the marble top displays typical small chips along the edges, including a chip to the rear right edge, with minor surface wear observed, the case exhibits a warm tonal patina with visually interesting patterning throughout, the wood shows inherent characteristics including knots, blemishes, and natural imperfections, there are typical nicks, rubs, wear, and scattered minor evidence of old woodworm, primarily noted to the feet and lower case, the drawers slide well and are clean, all observed wear is commensurate with origin, age, and use
