06.27.25: I note that the commode stands sturdy, with the marble top being securely inset, with naturally occurring inclusions and fissures, also having some typical minor chipping to edges, please note the top edge of gallery does not extend beyond the marble, the gallery with a couple small spots of separation and splits but remains secure throughout, also having patination and spotting, a segment at the central front edge appearing restored, including having gilt-painted touch ups, the front edge also with small nail holes suggesting the gallery was moved up slightly (related to gallery trim restoration), metal mounts overall remain secure to veneer, the drawers operate smoothly and retain overall well-kept/ clean interiors, there is a minor amount of typical light surface wear such as some small nicks, chips, and abrasions commensurate with age and use
