French Louis XVI style figured mahogany sideboard, 20th c., having demilune marble top, over five drawers, and five cabinets, opening to partially shelved interiors, each mounted with gilt-metal trim, rising on tapering fluted legs, ending on brass cap feet, approx 41"h, 102.5"w, 24"d
02.03.26: In my opinion regarding LOT 2134: I note that the sideboard is structurally sturdy, the varnish being well-preserved, with a few scattered minor veneer chips commensurate with age and use, the felt lining of the drawers remains secure, all drawers operating smoothly, the gilt-metal banding with light patination, remaining securely mounted throughout, with typical minute nicks/ dings commensurate with age and use, the glass shelf with a couple of minute fleabites inherent to rubbing/ contact against the interior and shelf supports
