10.7.25 - In my opinion regarding LOT: 1132 – the commode stands sturdy and structurally sound, please refer to online images for the best overall views as it is located in a confined area of the gallery, as described, the marble top has a repair at the rear right corner, scattered inherent inclusions and tonal variation, and typical minute chipping and roughness along the molded and back edges, with an additional small chip noted to the front right corner, the case is overall clean and displays warm patina with typical scattered nicks, abrasions, light surface wear, and small wood losses primarily along the lower edges, drawers operate smoothly, the interior of the lower drawer shows some staining, and the second drawer lock mechanism has been replaced with wood, all mentioned consistent with age and use
