French Louis XVI style figured mahogany breakfront sideboard, 20th c., having demilune marble top, over four drawers, and four cabinet doors opening to fixed-height shelving, inlaid throughout with parquetry banded trim, spaced by fluted posts, rising on short tapered legs, approx 42.5"h, 67.5"w, 22"d
07.30.25: In my opinion, I note that the sideboard stands sturdy and appears to remain structurally secure throughout, the marble top with inherent natural inclusions and fissures, as well as some typical scattered chips at edges, all being minor and commensurate with use, including a few with professionally filled concealment, the right corner of straight front edge with a minute professional reinforcement (see images), the veneer is overall well-retained, the parquetry trim is free from observed notable loss, the drawers and cabinets operating smoothly, the gilt metal elements remain securely mounted with light mellowing and patination
