French Louis XVI style mahogany sideboard, 20th c., having shaped marble top, over four drawers, and four cabinet doors, with gilt-metal banded trim, opening to fixed-height shelving, rising on tapering fluted legs, ending on brass cap feet, approx 41.5"h, 81.25"w, 22.5"d
02.03.26: In my opinion regarding LOT 3124: I note that the sideboard is structurally sturdy, the lacquered finish is overall well-retained, with a couple minute spots of flaked loss at one of the drawer fronts, and a minute, stable hairline at the upper right side (see images), the marble top having typical minor chipping to edges, and a minute, stable hairline extending from a small chip at the central front edge of top (see image), doors remain tight on hinges and retain clean interiors, the gilt-metal banding with light patination and some minute nicks commensurate with age and use
