02.06.26 - In my opinion regarding LOT 2151: I note that the table is structurally sturdy, the legs remaining secure at joinery to top, the gilt-metal gallery having patination and typical minor warping/ dents, one section of the gallery having been reinforced slightly higher, leaving a minor unfinished edge of the top visible (see image), the drawers operate smoothly, and the inset of the slides remains secure with typical light surface wear commensurate with use, the marble top is free from observed hairlines/ fractures and visible chipping, with a minor, slight surface discoloration consistent with age and use
