04.17.2026- In my opinion regarding LOT 3043: As described one of the decanters is lacking a stopper, and one of the cordials is of a mismatched design, I note that the case stands sturdy and all elements remains secure and tight at hinged joinery, the inlaid brass elements are free from notable loss and exhibit patination, the veneer having some small spots of typical minor crazing, the left-hand trim of the top with filled and inpainted loss of the ebonized segment (see images) but is overall minor, a closer look at the glass elements reveal two cordial glasses with glue restorations at the stem, these glasses with milk appearance at the interior associated with the adhesive
