French Napoleon III period black slate mantel clock, late 19th c., having stepped case with inset green marble accents, central white porcelain dial with open escapement, Roman numeral hour markers, unmarked time-and-strike movement, on scalloped base, accompanied by pendulum and key, small fracture and loss to enamel dial, movement starts and stops, in need of adjustment, approx 9"h, 11.75"w, 5.5"d, 14.5lbs **Provenance: From the estate of Carl Carter (Texas, 1955-2023)**
