French Neoclassical style gilt metal and stone mantle clock, late 19th c., depicting the Greek goddess Hebe holding urn and tazza, standing beside large eagle, architectural surround centering dial with partially obliterated mark, porcelain Roman numeral hour markers, time-and-strike movement marked Vincenti et Cie., rising on stepped stone base with central mask and winged grotesques, ending on turned-form feet, accompanied by pendulum, lacking back access door, not currently operational, approx 23.5"h, 21.5"w, 8"d, 48lbs

CR 6.17.25- As noted in the catalog description, the clock is not currently operational. It is accompanied by a key and a pendulum, and the bell and striker resound nicely when manually struck. The suspension string is intact. The clock is very difficult to wind, indicated that it may be wound tight. As mentioned in the catalog description, the case is lacking a back access door. In my opinion, the case is in otherwise good condition with typical patination and minute fleabites to the stone along the outer edges. As with all of our antique clocks, this piece would likely benefit from a professional adjustment and a thorough cleaning.
