02.09.2026- In my opinion regarding LOT 2149: I note that the bookcase is structurally secure, it is inherently a bit top heavy due to the narrow nature of the case and that the marble top is affixed to the top, as such the bookcase should be secured to a wall for safe display, doors remain tight on hinges, with a minute seam of stable separation at the lower right quadrant, the side panels having a couple of stable, minor splits, the marble top is free from observed hairlines/ fractures, with typical minor chipping at the edges, mostly at the unfinished back edge, glass is also free from observed hairlines/ fractures and interior shelving appears sturdy, there are a few minute spots of light abrasions and nicks commensurate with age and use
