06.05.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 3214: As described there is a small split at the right side panel, and an area of fill/ restoration at the back right edge of the top paneling, I note that the commode is presently intact and structurally secure, with fading/ tonal variation throughout, the top of the commode has a minor filled split at the left side edge, and the drawers currently operate smoothly, I observe minor lifting of the veneer directly below the top panel, the right side edge of the front of the case exhibits minute evidence of old woodworm, and a minute filled chip, the banding is overall well-preserved, and I note typical minor surface wear commensurate with age and use such as abrasions, minor chips, and scuffs
