10.24.24-I note that the sideboard is presently intact and structurally sturdy, the marble top having inherent natural inclusions and fissures, as well as typical minor chipping to the edges, mostly along the unfinished back edge from contact against a wall, all drawers operate smoothly, as does the cabinetry, with interior shelving remaining sturdy, the gilt metal accents exhibit tonal variations and rubs  to the gilt finish, and I observe a minute amount of surface wear such as a few very small nicks and abrasions commensurate with light use
