04.28.2026- In my opinion regarding: LOT 2162- the desk is provincial and exhibits age with scattered losses, imperfections, and wear throughout, the top and interior both display staining, spotting and darkening to wood, there are some stable splits to side panels and fall front panel, which may have had other hinges at one time, see images, slides support the fall front and are stable, the fitted interior shows wear, small repairs, and minor losses, presenting with unusual pull out trays, drawers slide well, there is minor gapping to stable bottom panels, the bottom panel on the lowest drawer appears to have been replaced, see image, the desk exhibits wear commensurate with origin, age and use
