Condition

10.24.24-I note that the server is presently intact and structurally sturdy, the top having a central split extending from end to end with filled reinforcement, another small split extending from front of right-hand edge, the split pediment is intact with typical minor splits, and exhibits multiple minor restorations, including reinforcements to the fruit element at either side of central shield, one small section of loss to the pediment above the scrolled dragon carving has been patched with a secondary piece of wood, there is evidence of old woodworm mostly contained to lower section of server, some corners having light seam separation with visible filled reinforcement such as at the front right foot (see image), and I observe light surface wear such as varnish loss/ wear and abrasions to the top, and minor nicks and abrasions concentrated at edges, this surface wear is typical and commensurate with age and use
