French Transitional style inlaid petite commode, early 20th c., having shaped marble top, over conforming case fitted with two drawers, with diamond-patterned parquetry and banded trim, rising tapering cabriole legs, ending on sabots, small repair to rear corner of marble, (one) rear leg intact with stable old restoration/reinforcement, very small veneer chips, approx 30"h, 23.25"w, 13.75"d **Provenance: The estate and interior design collection of Gay Ratliff (Martha Gay Kokernot Ratliff, Austin, Texas, 1942-2023)**
6.8.25- In my opinion regarding LOT: 2390- the cabinet is in stable and sturdy condition, drawers slide well, they exhibit light spotting to the interior, the top is intact and affixed to the case, I note a repair at the rear left corner and light typical roughness/typical small chipping along edges, inlays are intact throughout, there are some small scattered minute veneer chips/losses, noted at drawer separators and a long bottom edge, it appears that the left rear leg was repaired/reinforced at one time (visible from the back), it is now stable, I have taken images for your review, all mentioned commensurate with the age and use of the cabinet
