9.25.25 - In my opinion regarding LOT: 1194 – the desk is stable and sturdy overall, the wood surfaces exhibit tonal variation with scattered wear and finish loss, I note some nicks and impressions mainly along the edges and legs, there are surface impressions at the left side top as visible in the images, the colored insets to the writing surface show spotting staining and circular impressions throughout, the tambour door and drawers all slide well, interior drawers display varied degrees of staining, the file drawer is quite unusual, overall the desk presents stable and functional exhibiting wear and loss commensurate with age and use
