12.17.25: As described the fixture is in need of wiring, I note that the chandelier is structurally sound, with the arms appearing secure at joinery points, the gilded finish of the wood is worn – having tonal variations associated with mellowing, rubs, and patination, also having some grime build-up that would benefit from a gentle cleaning, I observe minute evidence of old woodworm, and some sparse, typical flaked losses of the painted finish of the faux candlesticks, also with some scattered minor chipping commensurate with age and use, the chandelier retaining the gilt-iron captured ring finial
