CR 1.9.25 - In my opinion regarding LOT 3038: I note that the crest is structurally solid, with natural inclusions and some scattered pitting throughout, close visual examination reveals a few minute, surface-level chips (see images), the marble is free from observed hairlines/ fractures, UV light examination reveals some scattered professional fills, notably one at the edge of the lion’s snout, albeit small, all appearing to be overall minor (see images under UV and natural light), I observe a few seams of professional stabilization, which does not glow under UV light, and are typical, these stabilizations are necessary in order to create a smooth, solid surface in areas that the marble has inherent fissures and inclusions
