09.24.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 2342: I note that the commode is presently intact and structurally sturdy, the top exhibits a central filled split extending from end-to-end, as well as having areas of light staining commensurate with use, the drawers are currently operational, with patination of metal hardware, the front panel of a couple drawers appear to not sit flush against case although drawer is fully closed, there is typical tonal variation throughout the wood, due in part to spotting concentrated to the lower portion of case, I observe small losses to the inlaid trim, some of which have been filled, and there is evidence of old woodworm concentrated at the apron, I observe typical light surface wear such as scuffs, minor abrasions, and nicks commensurate with age and use
