03/19/2026- In my opinion regarding LOT 1303: I note that the commode stands sturdy, the finish having alligatoring/ crazing, the top with areas of worn/ rubbed finish losses commensurate with use, drawers operate smoothly, and the marquetry is overall well-preserved, the veneer and marquetry with some scattered small chips, most with professionally filled concealment (see images), as well as a couple of minute patches, also having minute evidence of old woodworm commensurate with origin
