03.25.25: In my opinion regarding LOT 3093: I note that the sofa is presently intact and structurally sturdy, the caning appearing securely bound throughout, and is free from observed notable losses beyond the typical minor splintering, and some minor peeling of the outer shell, both being sparse is occurrence, the upholstery is also remarkably well-preserved, being free from observed tearing, restoration, or obvious staining, the cushioning having a well-retained shape, all seams appearing secure, with some scattered minute loose threads, I observe typical minor surface wear such as small abrasions, nicks, and light tonal variations of the wood associated with small areas of peeled finish and rubs, all being commensurate with age and gentle use
