05.28.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 3236: I note that the buffet is presently intact and structurally sturdy, the trim around top panel of buffet has several areas of fill, and the top cabinetry case has areas of loss and splits around the trim, as well as fill/ patch with secondary segment of wood, there is patination/ oxidation of the metal, particularly at the long exterior hinges, and minor evidence of old woodworm, the sliding top case doors and the buffet drawer currently operate smoothly, and I observe minor splits, as well as typical light surface wear such as abrasions, nicks, and a few minute chips to carved elements commensurate with age and use
