Louis XVI style marble-top mahogany commode, 19th c., three drawers, framed by fluted corner posts, on front turned legs, middle drawer with evidence of woodworm, approx 34.75"h, 43.5"w, 20.75"d
7.29.25: In my opinion, the commode is in stable, sturdy condition, the marble top is quite worn with overall spotting, discoloration, and wear, some divots and typical small chips and roughness along edges and corners, the case and drawers show finish wear/loss, particularly noted to left side, tonal variation, nicks, rubs and some wood wear, I note evidence of old woodworm across the facade of the center drawer and light scattered evidence throughout, the drawers slide with only light resistance, drawer interiors retain a worn dirty liner, the case would likely benefit from a good waxing, overall the commode exhibits wear and age
