Louis XVI style mahogany commode, early 20th c., shaped marble top, above four drawers, framed by fluted corner posts, on turned legs, approx 35.25"h, 36"w, 16.5"d
9.26.25 - In my opinion regarding LOT 1235: I note that the commode is structurally sturdy, the marble top is free from observed hairlines/ fractures with some typical minor edge chipping commensurate with age and use, the front left leg with a split issuing from a chip at the foot but remains fully stable, the veneer with tonal variations associated with sun fading and some light spotting, drawers operate smoothly with fabric-lined interiors, I observe minor evidence of old woodworm commensurate with origin, and the metal hardware remains securely mounted with patination, I observe sparse minor surface wear, all being typical and commensurate with age and use, such as minor abrasions and nicks, please refer to attached images
