03.15.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 1238: I note that the screen is presently intact and structurally sturdy, the needlepoint is secure to the panel framing, and exhibits discoloration and sun fading, as well as light staining/ spotting, as well as a few minute spots of thread loss, the silk backing is worn as described, specifically with water spotting/ staining, but remains intact and fully bound to the frame, the beveled glass panels appear securely fastened within panels and are without presently observed fractures or chips, the frame displays typical surface wear such as paint peeling and loss, chips to the crest of each panel, and abrasions commensurate with age and use
