Louis XVI style bench, 20th c., having padded seat with white-and-blue speckled upholstery, over white-painted frame in an intentionally distressed finish, rising on tapering fluted legs, lacking two applied metal floral medallions at one corner, upholstery with staining, approx 20"h, 37"w, 22.5"d
9.24.25-In my opinion regarding LOT: 1128—the bench is sturdy and sits comfortably, the upholstery shows discoloration and runs, the cushion interior feels a bit degraded (crunchy?), it would likely benefit from reupholstering, the frame displays a distressed painted finish with scattered nicks, abrasions, and small wood losses, applied metal mounts have been overpainted, I note two missing applied metal flowers to one corner as pictured, with further evidence that additional metal trim may once have been present along the sides
