Matched Pair of Percussion Pistols, Belgium, mid 19th century, approx. .41 caliber, octagonal 4.5" fully damascened silver tone rifled barrels slightly flared at the muzzle ends and having blade front sights over a ramrod with button front end, the barrels held to the wood frame by a single wedge, right side scrolled engraved percussion locks, the hammer, trigger guards and frame nose with similar scrolled decoration, the wood frames appear as walnut, the butts with foliate engraved metal bulbous cover hinged to open for storage, the underside of the barrels stamped with the bore size "10.4" and the Liege mark ELG over a star within an oval and further marked as a pair with number "499", wood with light scratching, action is good on both, the bores with very light surface rust, for shipping each approx. 10.25"l, 5.75"h, 1.5"d, total of both 2.80lbs Detailed condition reports are not included in this catalog.
