06.06.25: In my opinion regarding LOT 2138: I note that the table is presently intact and structurally sturdy, the glass top being free from observed chips or hairlines/ fractures, resting comfortably within the frame, the painted finish with typical light discoloration and spotting, the gilt elements with light mellowing, the marble base with some typical minor chipping along the unfinished back edge, and some stable veneer separation at lyre-form back, there is typical minor surface wear such as small nicks and abrasions at edges, as well as a small number of minor chipped paint losses commensurate with age and use
