07.09.2026- In my opinion regarding LOT 2498: Please note that based upon the findings of this condition examination, the pricing of this lot has been lowered, we apologize for any inconvenience, I note that the figure stands sturdy and is securely joined to the base, the lacquered and parcel-gilt finishes having some typical light surface discoloration and scattered, small flaked losses commensurate with age and use/ display, I observe a few stable, minor splits that do not appear to affect structural stability, the hands are likely lacking an element such as a staff or scepter, UV light examination reveals restorations to both of the legs at the ankle and one of the hands, including inpainted concealment, the description has been revised 07.06.26 to reflect notable condition findings
