U.S. Model 1898 Springfield Armory Krag Rifle, mfg 1902, bolt action, sporterized, .30-40 caliber, 22.5" barrel lacking front sight, caliber at left barrel in front of receiver ring, left receiver wall with scope mounting screws and marked with model information as noted above, later pistol grip hardwood stock with cheekpiece, two sling swivels, engraved hinged plate behind the rear swivel opens to storage for three cartridges, black plastic butt plate, wood with light scratching, metal retains most of blue at barrel with wear on magazine face and sideplate, action is good, bore is bright with good rifling, SN 362658 *REQUIRES FFL TRANSFER*
