Large English Victorian electrotype silverplate charger, Elkington and Company, late 19th c., after the model by Francois Briot (French, 1550-1612), having central image of Temperance with wine glass and ewer, surrounded by figural cartouches depicting the four classical elements among Minerva and the Seven Liberal Arts, stamped maker's mark to underside, some overall plate loss, approx 18.5"d, 5.5lbs (for shipping purposes only)
