09/15/2026: In my opinion regarding LOT : 3230- the pair are in stable condition, the stone exhibits natural inclusions and fissures, with areas of fill and stabilization, some appearing consistent with typical reinforcement undertaken during manufacture, the bronze mounts appear largely present throughout, displaying light mellowing, spotting, surface wear, , and some possibly replaced screws, the varnished surfaces to both tops are slightly yellowed and hazed, see images, the cases display expected scattered minor edge roughness/chips, small losses, and light wear, the front right corner of one commode appears possibly repaired, with a small localized variation in color, the lower drawer front of the other commode displays localized variation in surface and finish, with an area of differing response under UV examination, possibly indicating old restoration, or uneven varnish/coating, the exact nature is uncertain, see images for reference, the drawer interiors are largely clean, the bottoms are stable, with one displaying a small open flaw at the lower front, the drawers are a bit fussy/ tight and would likely benefit from waxing, there are no large segments of missing stone observed, in my opinion, the pair overall retain a strong visual appearance and are sturdy
