04.21.2026- In my opinion regarding LOT: 3359- please note I am not an expert on such sculptures, the figure is overall intact and presents as a well carved example, a careful UV light examination reveals linear seams extending through the lower body from the foot upward along the drapery and legs, which appear to possibly be how it was construction versus a repair, however I am unsure, please refer to images, I note only light and scattered minor chipping, inherent inclusions, natural fissures within the stone, and slight areas of surface roughness, the surface retains a smooth and consistent polish, the wooden base is stable with expected wear to the finish
