French crystal twelve-light chandelier, attributed to Baccarat, Paris, 19th c., now electrified, sectional baluster-form stem, parcel-gilt tiered canopies and bowl with white enamel painted flowers, issuing writhen s-shaped branches, decorated overall with pendant bells and cut spear prisms, contemporary wiring, approx 70"h, 45"diam, 154lbs **Provenance: purchased in Paris c.1955 by Earl Curtis Hankamer, Sr. (1892-1980) and Lena Olive Miller Hankamer (1892-1978) and installed in their River Oaks mansion in Houston, Texas. Then by descent, installed in the historic James Raymond Johnson house in Austin, Texas in 1994. Professional restoration campaign by Illumafix Lighting in 2022**

CR 8.13.25-In my opinion regarding LOT : As described the fixture is equipped with contemporary wiring, and was restored in a 2022 Illumafix Lighting professional restoration campaign, these restorations include re-gilding, every pin on the fixture was replaced or restored, recreation of candle covers/ bobeche, and the silver-plated arm ferrule ceramic adhesive was restored, other past professional restorations include one suspended bell intact with restorations, and the metal plates drilled for electrification in the 1930s, being partially restored in the1950s, and fully restored 2022 including re-wiring, from a present visual examination, I observe some sparse minor chipping to prisms which are typical and commensurate with age and use, as well as the loss of several prisms hung from bobeches, the upper portion of the fixture lacking six S-shaped branches (see images), close examination does not reveal hairlines/ fractures, and there are some typical minor rubs to the gilded decoration commensurate with use
