04.27.2026- In my opinion regarding LOT: 3296- the commode is in stable and sturdy condition, the marble top is largely intact exhibiting some typical roughness and minute chipping along edges and back, there are some small stabilized areas and some stable small hairlines, the case shows overall light wood wear, sparse abrasions, tonal variation, small losses and minor repairs, mainly observed to edges and drawer separators, see images, drawers slide well, interiors retain worn liners, these would likely benefit from being replaced, metal mounts are present, gilding has mellowed and shows some light rubs and minor wear, all mentioned commensurate with age and use
